Refund Policy

When and how Frostline refunds subscriptions and credit packs.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on debtidepot.com — Drip, Barista, and Roastery subscriptions; Small, Medium, and Large credit packs; and any add-on purchases. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

2. Subscriptions

2.1 First-purchase satisfaction window

If you have made your first paid subscription purchase within the last seven (7) days and have not generated a brew reel under that subscription, you may request a full refund. Email support@debtidepot.com from the address on the account.

2.2 Subsequent renewals

Subscription renewals after the satisfaction window are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the current period.

2.3 Pro-ration

We do not pro-rate refunds for the unused portion of a subscription period. If you cancel mid-period your plan stays active to the end of the period.

2.4 Plan downgrade or upgrade

You may downgrade or upgrade at any time at debtidepot.com/app/billing. Upgrades are charged the difference immediately and credited; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.

3. Credit packs

3.1 Unused credits

Within fourteen (14) days of purchasing a credit pack, you may request a refund for credits that have not yet been consumed. We refund pro-rata for unused credits and revoke the corresponding Stripe credit grant. After fourteen days, unused credits are non-refundable but remain spendable until expiration.

3.2 Consumed credits

Credits consumed to generate a recipe, a recipe-card set, a brew reel, or any other digital output are non-refundable. The output is the deliverable; once delivered, the credit is spent.

3.3 Promotional credits

Free or promotional credits awarded by Frostline are not refundable in any circumstance.

4. AI-output quality

Frostline outputs are generated by machine-learning models and are not guaranteed to satisfy taste, aesthetic, or commercial expectations. If you are not satisfied with a specific recipe or reel:

  1. Open a support ticket at support@debtidepot.com within seven (7) days describing the issue and the output ID.
  2. We will, in our sole discretion, re-generate the output or grant make-good credits at no charge.
  3. Cash refunds for AI-output dissatisfaction are at our discretion; we generally provide make-good credits or re-generation rather than cash refunds.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@debtidepot.com from the email address on the account with:

  • the order or invoice number;
  • the date of purchase;
  • a brief description of the reason;
  • if relevant, the output ID and what went wrong.

We acknowledge requests within two (2) business days and complete eligible refunds within ten (10) business days. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method via Stripe. Bank posting times are outside our control and may take additional days.

6. Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first — most issues are resolved within forty-eight hours. If a chargeback is filed before we have a chance to resolve, your account may be suspended pending the outcome. We respond to chargebacks with the documentation listed in §6.1 of our Privacy Policy and §16 of our Terms of Service.

7. Free tier

The Drip plan is free and includes a small monthly recipe allowance. There is no charge to refund.

8. Tax

Refunds returned through Stripe include tax where applicable. We do not separately refund payment-processor fees, which Stripe retains.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this Policy reduces your statutory consumer rights, including any right of withdrawal under EU or UK consumer law where applicable. Where a longer mandatory cooling-off period applies, that period applies.
